I am now less than thrilled with Autozone itself

as opposed to having simply lost enthusiasm for their products.

the store manager has taken the position that a distributor cap is inherently inflammable (followed by swift backpedalling, when I pointed out that I was complaining because it had demonstrated its flammability, to the position that it was incapable of igniting on its own) and that therefor it was melted (and ignited) due to something, already burning, having fallen on top.

never mind the fact that the cap was itself on fire, or that the fire was spreading up the wires from the cap, or—most importantly—that there's nothing above the distributor cap other than the ignition wires and the hood! literally nothing flammable other than the wires, which even he admitted couldn't have been the source of the fire, sits above the distributor cap.

so, yeah; not happy with Autozone.
