'm sleepy. wanna go back to bed. but I have two loads of laundry running, so I can't, 'cause our dryer is borked and won't automatically shut off anymore. -_-

okay, my mother seems to be hallucinating and somewhat less than coherent. she's also having trouble staying upright. this is becoming far too common an occurrence for my liking, and there's not a damned thing I can do about it because she won't listen to me. she hears, she acknowledges (sometimes), and then she carries right on with whatever she thinks she's doing. which currently seems to be conversing with several groups of people who aren't present, and may not even exist except to her.

I hate this.
