for some reason this song makes me want to play Star Wars Episode I: Racer in a dimly lit back bedroom with furniture taking up most of the floor space. sitting on a stool with the sound muted and the stereo playing.

on a completely unrelated note, one of the few things that never seems to fade is how any bedroom I've slept in has been furnished when I slept in it. and there's a few places I've lived where that's damn near the only thing I remember about them.

but I still trip over things in my room in the dark. go figure.

okey dokey, guess I'm finally going to be cracking the case again. the CD-RW does not like the digital audio out (scratches are ugly, and painful), and I want to see if I can dual-head by adding a Voodoo3. even if it doesn't work in Windows, I think Xinerama should do it. I hope.

besides, there's probably a ton of dust in there.

strange. my arm hurts. but just one spot, kinda like if I stuck a pin in it, except dull. and I can feel this this kinda ridge/depression thingy on the bone there with my arm in certain positions. and it started when I lifted something with my arm twisted behind me. I have an idea, but that'd mean I really haven't been paying enough attention to my body. ¬_¬

so, thoughts?

ugh. now I've got this bug in my ear telling me to backport the system tray to Fluxbox 0.1.14, among other things. like rounded windows and pixmap themes. and remove the size link between the clock and the workspace displays on the toolbar. and a bunch of other stuff.

on second thought, maybe it'd be easier to start with 0.9.6pre1 and revert some things.

or maybe I should just beat my mind until it shuts up. which is sounding better and better every second. o_o

it's not bad, but I think I'm trying the berry next time. 'cause mint and me just don't work together unless there's chocolate involved somewhere. or dairy products; mint ice cream is fine.

dammit, now I want pocky! I'd have gotten a donut at the store, but the only devil's food they had was a sad-looking, stale thing with coconut on it. bleh.

and I saw this cute black top at Wal-Mart, but my grandmother was with us so I couldn't get it. ;_; oh well. it's not like there's a shortage of things I want to buy or anything. O:-)

and of course since I'm the Gutless Wonder I didn't even go over to price it.

feh. as soon as they're done with this strike dealio at Albertsons I'll be applying for a job there. though apparently I can apply at that little terminal thingy by the other door before the striky thingy, and they'll hire me after, if they hire me.

man, my mind's jumping all over the place tonight. maybe it's 'cause I haven't really eaten much of anything in a week or so? or just because I'm fried? that always screws me up somehow, especially when I'm not really tired, exactly.

there's other trains of thought running by, but they aren't stopping for me. ;_; so I'll stop now.
