finally woke up around 1100, after dozing for several hours. logged onto my computer and started trying to catch up on LJ; this was interrupted by my parents soliciting suggestions for dinner. this spun, by way of digging through the fridge for ideas, into cleaning the fridge. like, pulling all the food out, pulling the drawers and shelves out, and washing everything. we ended up chucking more than half of what was in there, though admittedly a fair amount of that was jars with a tiny bit in the bottom and the like.

anyway, we managed to finish that up, and I followed my mom over to my grandmother's home in the wagon to bring her home after returning my granmother's car. on the way home, we stopped at the store for eggs and milk, and ended up bringing home a case of soda and 3 bags of groceries in addition. oops?

finally got home and unwound a bit. had burgers for dinner and tried this Grey Poupon yellow mustard we got last week. it was pretty good, actually.

I really should get to bed; I need to be up at 0800 tomorrow 'cause my uncle's coming by so we can give blood again and then see The Matrix Reloaded on the IMAX screen at the Edwards by Ontario Mills. hopefully I'll get to swing through Gameworks and play DDR again. haven't played that in weeks. I miss it.

well, my uncle never showed up, but I managed to convince my dad to help me with the car today. I think. he said he'll give me a hand when he wakes up in a few hours. we'll see how that goes.

breaking lug nuts loose by hand is a bitch. especially when some yahoo with an impact wrench was the last person to touch them.

dammit. I was really looking forward to seeing that movie.

silly me. when we were talking about going to the movies and giving blood, etc., we kept switching between Friday and Saturday, which really confused me. obviously. he's supposed to pick me up tomorrow.

I gotta say, this DiGiorno Spinah, Mushroom & Garlic is pretty damned good. as is the Sausage & Pepperoni, but that's pretty hard to fuck up, y'know?

got gas on the way back from the store, and the pump was majorly fucked up. probably should have taken the hint when the nozzle shot a cup or two of gas out all over my shins and my shoes, despite being fully and properly inserted. at least I wasn't wearing my boots or my new shoes. it also kept stopping for no reason, and when I pulled the nozzle out at the end it dumped more gas on the ground. this time I was leaning over to reach though, so it didn't get me. neener.

grabbed a couple pounds of candy for the movie tomorrow too. yes, a couple of pounds. I likes my movie snacks. have to run through Starbucks before we go in too, so I can get a Tazo Citrus. got almost a pound each of nonpareils and gummy candies; hopefully they'll last me.

having noted that my thoughts (such as they are) are growing quite strange and disjointed, I'm off to sleep for 9 hours and then wake up in a blind panic because my uncle's here and I need to get ready to go now and I'm still asleep even though I'm running around and well... yeah.
