Windows XP RC1 runs sooooo much better than ME. but I can't upgrade DirectX, Windows Media Player, or anything else I really want to.
on the other hand, I'm running eDonkey, Getright, Winamp, Trillian, and Mozilla (8 tabs at the mo') with no problems at all. none. this is a vast improvement over the puke that is Windows 9x, which slows down when I download a single file, or have eDonkey open at all.
but I can't run my beloved zSNES DOS anymore. *sobs* I have to use the inferior Windows version. oh well.
