looks like I'll be picking up one of these on the cheap, but that leaves me with $70. and a strong temptation to bypass the CPU (Athlon XP 2[56]00+, most likely), use the Athlon 1200 that's just sitting around collecting dust, and pick up a DirectX 9 video card. I've seen a lot of Radeon 9600s around $50...
wonder if I could talk my dad into giving me his spare case?
