grargh. why is it so impossible to find the amperage a Playstation supplies to its controllers? anyone out there have a Playstation and an ammeter or multimeter who could check the amperage of the 3.5V line (pin 5)?

Lots of helpful stuff, and some of them even include technical stuff concerning controllers, peripherals, and whatnot. I dunno if there's any controller stuff in there, but it might be a good start if you haven't combed thru it, already.
