friend of ours in the Marines has a daughter in the hospital, possible brain injury, and the NCOIC told him he couldn't go to the hospital. so now he's AWOL, because he wanted to be with his daughter.

well yeah, i know that... military's part of the govt ^_^

but they've done horrible things to my stepfather. he's a vietnam vet, and lets not get into how they screw him on medical care, or the fact that he's not allowed to work , or he'll lose his free health coverage, but damned if they can't pay him more than 800 a month for pension when the average rent around here is at least 1000/month. wtf?

i fucking hate the way they do things.
