what the hell? last time I checked I had 128MB of video memory; there's no way Windows should be using anywhere near 116.

Answer:
This may be caused by a corrupt installation of DirectX. Try reinstalling it.
You should also try installing the Detonator 3 (6.xx) or later drivers.
A corrupt installation of DirectX would refuse to flush your memory...
I would suggest looking at that rather than the drivers first.

Date: 2003-11-02 09:30 am (UTC)I've noticed that I needed to reinstall DirectX after I installed my soundcard, because it was corrupt (Videos wouldn't play correct). After the reinstall of directX off course my dolby5.1 didn't work anymore... :/
