hyuriafter a couple of sleep periods spent compiling various Big Things, I now have a working graphical Linux system. so I don't have to fire up Links to make entries anymore. currently I'm emerging the deps for Gaim, after which I'll be emerging the masked release. also, I'm compiling a new kernel: using a kernel compiled on a "different system" makes ALSA unhappy. >_< but! I have the essentials: Fluxbox, Mozilla, XMMS.
guess I should grab a text editor, huh? nano just pisses me off, after getting used to Emacs. I just wish someone had an ebuild for 19.34 or 20.7. -_-
er, maybe I should write one. it can't be that hard, can it?
