hyurifinally decided to install Linux again. I've had better ideas, really. just spent the last few hours running the Gentoo bootstrap script; now I'm running emerge system.
this is going to take a while.
since I seem to have fallen asleep a few times already, I'm going to bed now. I was going to wait until I could start XFree86 compiling, but no such luck. oh well.
