well, fuck.
Sep. 30th, 2003 01:39 pmgot Windows working again, eMule's playing nicely, Mozilla's doing good, and for some reason I can't recall I decide to upgrade Trillian. So I install 2.0, and it crashes.
not a good start.
so I start it up again, and it works. then I discover that the wonderful Cordillera skin is seriously f'ed up by 2.0, so I switch to Whistler, tell Trillian to restart so it'll change, and it crashes again. but it starts up and works, again, so it's all good, right?
but then I decide that (again) that Whistler really doesn't do it for me, and I switch back to Cordillera. after the crash, restart, continue bit, I'm painfully reminded why I switched skins before. so I kill Trillian, and run the 1.0 installer to downgrade. partway through, I get a BSOD and a Windows Protection Error.
so I reboot, ended up in Linux, and decided to update my Gentoo install. five emerges later, everything's up to date and I'm giving some serious consideration to snagging the latest masked pfeifer-sources.
maybe I should compile the new development-sources first...
